Familiarity with Some of the Life Conduct of the Prophet Muhammad (s)

Imam al-Husayn (a) said,

“I asked my father, the Commander of the Faithful, Ali (a) about the manner of the noble Prophet (a). He answered (a),

‘The Prophet’s (a) manner was so that he (a) was always happy and mild. He (a) was not harsh, cruel, aggressive or foul-mouthed. He (a) was not a flatterer. No one became disappointed at him. One who went to his house, would not return disappointed. He (a) had abandoned three practices: quarrel in speech, too much speaking, meddling in that which was not related to him. He (a) abandoned three things about people: he (a) did not admonish anyone; he (a) did not find people’s faults and never spoke, except about what he (a) hoped to receive rewards for from God.
