One of the servants of the Majesty Imam Reza, peace be upon him, says:
“I went to the doctor to have a tooth extracted. The doctor said: there is a gland next to your tongue that needs to be operated on. I agreed, but after the operation, I was speechless and unable to speak. I wrote everything on paper and communicate with others through this means. No matter how much I went to the doctor, it did not help. The doctors said: your vocal cord is damaged.
Discomfort and illness pressed me. I went to Tehran for treatment. One day in Tehran, I met Mr. Alavi, who said: My advice to you is to go to the Jamkaran Mosque for 40 Wednesday nights. Because if there is healing, it is there.
I made a decision. Every week I would buy a plane ticket from Mashhad and go to Tehran on Tuesday nights and had the honor of presenting to Jamkaran Mosque on Wednesday night. In the thirty-eighth week, after praying, I put my head on the seal and sent blessings. Suddenly I got a feeling that I saw everywhere became bright and a man came in who was followed by many people and they said this man is Hazrat Hajja ibn Al-Hassan(imam mahdi), peace be upon him. I stood in a corner upset, wondering I could not greet the Lord. The gentleman came near me and said: Say hello!
I hinted to my tongue that I was mute, otherwise I would not be rude not to say hello. His majesty said a second time: Say hello!
I immediately opened my mouth and said hello. At this time, the curtains were removed and I saw myself prostrating and sending blessings. People who had seen my health before, and then my muteness, and now see my health, have testified to supreme ayatollah Golpaiegani, may God have mercy on him.(1)
