Who is the biggest news in the world? And why will it be asked on the Day of Judgment?

Who is the biggest news in the world? And why will it be asked on the Day of Judgment?

In the Holy Qur’an, God speaks of great news and emphasizes that people will be asked about that great news on the Day of Judgment, and this is a sign of the importance of that news.

God says in the Holy Qur’an in Surah Naba:

Amma yatasa aloona1 ane nnaba el azime2 allazi hom fihe mokhtalefoon3

What do they ask each other about?

2. about that very big news [they ask]

3. The same [news] in which they differ. (1)

But there are words in the great prophecy ( word: Naba azim of Surah Naba):

1.   All the principles of Islam, which are the proof of the creator and the attributes of the divine, the angels, the resurrection, heaven and hell, the mission and the caliphate.

2. The great prophecy is the prophethood of Hazrat Khatam, peace and blessings of God be upon her, and the infidels said to each other: Is this person a prophet or a poet or a sorcerer or a madman.

 3. The meaning of the Qur’an is that it informs about the occurrence of Baath and is a proof of prophecy.

4. The meaning of the great prophecy is the guardianship of Hazrat Amir al-Mu’minin, peace be upon him.

In order to know what the news is and why people disagree about it, we must look at some narrations from Shiite and Sunni sources.

It is one of the narrations of Sunnis

Hafiz Abu Naeem, one of the Sunni elders, narrated from Saddi that the Prophet said:

The meaning of the great prophecy is the guardianship of Hazrat Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him) that the people will be asked about in the grave, and there is no dead body in the east and west of the world and in the land and the sea, unless Monker and Nakir, as from His Lord and his Prophet should ask him about the guardianship of Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him).

Fatoobi lelmosaddeq belvelayate va alvil lelmokazzeb be velayate:

So, happy is the good fortune of the one who has acknowledged her wilayat and considered her as her imam and leader, and woe betide her who has not benefited from his wilayat.(2)

In another narration, it has been narrated that one day Sakhr bin Harb came to the Messenger of God (PBUH) and said: Who is the ruler of the province that you have, after you?

The Prophet said: It is for someone who behaves with me like Aaron to Moses.

At this time, God revealed the verse “Amma yatsa alun”.

That is, the people of Makkah are asking you about Ali’s caliphate

Some of them will confirm his governorship(wilayat) and some will deny it

And this is a sign for them, they will recognize his caliphate and find it right, because they will be asked in their graves and from all the dead in the east and west of the world and in the sea and dry land.  Nakir and Monker ask them questions and say to them: Who is your God? what is your religion And who is your imam? ! [3]

In another narration by Alqameh Kohmi, he says: In the Battle of Safin, one day a man from the Sham Army came out covered in weapons and had a Quran on his head and recited this verse:

 «عم يتساعلون عن النبأ العظيم»

Am yatasa aloon an al naba el azim

I wanted to fight him, Ali (a.s.) said to me: stop, and he himself went ahead and said to that man: Do you know the “Great Prophecy” about which they differed? The man said: No.

Ali (a.s.) said: By God, I am that great prophet. You disputed about me and disputed about my province, and from him my province, you returned after you accepted it, after you were guided by You perished in your rebellion, you knew the Day of Ghadir, and on the Day of Resurrection you will know what they knew…(4)

And it has also been narrated: On the day of the battle of Uhud, when the people fled, Ali (a.s.) was wielding a sword in front, and Gabriel was on his right side, and the Prophet and Michael were on his left side. Say he is “Great prophet” and people stay away from him. [5]

But in a narration, Imam Reza (a.s.) narrates from his fathers and from Imam Hussein (a.s.), that the Messenger of God (p.a.) said to Ali (a.s.):

Ali, you are the “proof of God” and you are the “babe of God” and you are the “path to God” and you are the “great prophet” and you are the “right path”

You are the “Exemplar of the Most High” or you are the “Imam of the Muslims” and “the Commander of the Faithful” and “Khir al-Wasiyin” and “Syed al-Siddiqin”, or you are the “Al-Farq al-Azam” and you are the “Al-Saqq al-Akbar”.

Ali, you are my caliph over the Ummah, and it is you who pays my debts and fulfills my promises. Ali, you will be oppressed after me. They leave you after me.

I bear witness to God Almighty and what is present from my Ummah that your party is my party and my party is the party of God and the party of your enemies is the party of Satan. [6]

Even this great Prophet’s description of Imam Ali has been mentioned in the past nations, as Muhammad bin Fazil says in this regard:

I asked Imam Sadiq (a.s.) about God’s speech:  ( Am yatasa aloon an al naba el azim al lazi fihe mokhtalefoon) , he said:

He is Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.) who used to say: There is no greater prophethood than me for God, and my grace was offered to the past nations despite the difference in their languages. [7]

So, we conclude that what is meant by this is the great news of Imam Ali and that the difference is the same as the guardianship and succession of that Imam, as in a hadith of Aban Ibn Taghlib who says:

I asked the Imam (a.s.) about the word of God: ” Am yatasa aloon an al naba el azim al lazi fihe mokhtalefoon.” He said: “He is Ali (a.s.), because there is no dispute about the Messenger of God (pbuh). [8]

But verse 67 of Surah S in the Holy Qur’an points to an interesting point:

قُلْ هُوَ نَبَأٌ عَظيمٌ [67]

Ghol huwa nabao azim (67)

Say: “This is great news.” (9)

The word <huwa> < هُوَ > is a masculine absent singular pronoun which confirms the above narrations because the reference noun <zalek><ذالک> is usually used for objects.

Also, in a narration of Abahamzah Samali, he said, I said to Imam Baqir (AS): huwa nabao azim antom an ho mo rezoon (Who is he)? They said: By God, he is the Commander of the Faithful. (10)

And in another narration Sadir says: From Imam Sadiq (peace be upon her) about the words of God Almighty:

But these are clear verses that are in the chest of scholars.

(Ankabut: 49) And also: Qol huwa nabaa ʻazim* an ho mo rezoona, I asked about it, he said:

“Those who have been given knowledge are our imams (peace be upon them) and news is imamate” (11).

And in proof of this matter, in the Nadbah prayer, we say to Imam Mahdi, the Savior of the World of Humanity (A.S.), “Ya bin Naba’ al-Azeem” means O son of the great prophet.

And the Prophet has repeatedly mentioned this point (the governorship of Imam Ali after himself) and Amir al-Mu’minin himself has narrated this point in many cases, and the Imams (peace be upon him) have also confirmed it, and it is the first of Islam in the eyes of Muslims and also in culture Shia, the “great prophet” (naba azim) is Amir al-Mu’minin Ali bin Abi Talib (a.s.). And what injustices they have done to him and what differences they had about him. In the above Surah, people will be asked about that great news and that difference on the Day of Judgment.
