The plurality of wealth and abundance of blessings during the rule of the Twelfth Imam (part 2)

In the first part, we talked about good economic condition and welfare of the people during the rule of the Twelfth Imam.

Now we read a notable hadith in this regard:

Imam Sadiq (as) says:

Twelfth Imam (Mahdi (as)) will order the spokesman [of his government] to announce among the people that anyone having a financial need shall rise.

From all the men, only one person will rise up and say: “I am!”

Imam Mahdi (as) would tell the man to go to treasurer and tell him that Mahdi (as) has ordered to give some finance to him. The treasurer would tell him to hold his lap. The man will spread his lappet and fill it (by gold and silver). When he takes it to go, he would regret: “why should I be the greediest one among the Umma of the Prophet (sa)? Why should not I have self-control like others?” Then, he will return the property to the treasurer.

But it will not be accepted and Imam Mahdi (aj) will say? We never get back what we have given.

It seems from the hadiths that in the government of the twelfth Imam, justice will be established to a level that the people will be fairly well-off and in a good economic condition, and will reach to a level of self-sufficiency that only one person will come to Imam Mahdi (as) and ask for property. While at the end, that single man also will reach self-sufficiency.

Such a great spirit of self-sufficiency and self-content will emerge in the people of that age.
