Perfections Of Imam Mahdi (Twelfth imam)

Perfections Of Imam Mahdi (Twelfth imam)

Allamah Majlisi has narrated a tradition in Biharul Anwar from Mufaddal bin Umar from imam Sadiq (as) that he said:
“And at that time our master, imam mahdi (Qaim) (aj) leaning his back on the House[1] of Allah will say:

O people, whoever wants to see Adam (a) and Shayth (Seth(a)), should know that I am Adam (a) and Shayth (Seth(a)) . And whoever wants to see Nuh (Noah (a)) and his son, Saam(a) , should know that I am that same Nuh(Noah (a)) and Saam(a). And whoever wants to see Ibrahim (Abraham (a)) and Ismail (a) , should know that I am that same Ibrahim(Abraham (a)) and Ismail(a) . And whoever wants to see Moosa (moses(a)) and Yusha(joshua (a)), should know that I am that same Moosa(moses(a)) and Yusha(joshua (a)). And whoever wants to see jesus (Isa(a)) and Shamoun(simeon (a)), should know that I am that same jesus (Isa(a)) and Shamoun(simeon (a)).
And whoever wants to see Muhammad (S) and Amirul Momineen Ali (s), should know that I am that same Muhammad (s) and Amirul Momineen Ali (s) . And whoever wants to see Hasan (s) and Hussain (s) , should know that I am that same Hasan (s) and Hussain (s). And whoever wants to see the Imams from the progeny of Hussain (s) , should know that I am those same purified Imams. Accept my call and gather near me as I would inform you about all that has been said and all that has not been said.”

This tradition proves that all the qualities of the great Prophets and the morals and manners of the Purified Imams (as) have come together in the being of the Imam(mahdi(s)) of the time – may our souls be sacrificed on him – and they emanate from His Eminence.

Prophet Ādam (a) (Arabic: النبی آدم), according to religious reports, has been the first man on earth and the father of all human beings. God breathed of His Spirit in Adam’s body, then praised Himself for creating Adam (a).

Shayth (a) (Arabic: شيث) or Seth was the second prophet after Adam (a). He was among the children of Adam (a) and Eve and the small brother of Habil [Abel] and Qabil [Cain]. His birth was a gift from God for Adam (a) after the murder of Habil; therefore, Shayth (a) was known as Hibat Allah (gift of Allah).

Shayth (a) was the vicegerent of Adam (a) and the prophet after him. He had several tablets from God. He had four children, the first one of whom was Enos (a). (wikishia.net)

Noah (a) (Arabic: نوح) was the first Ulu al-‘Azm prophet. He is the third prophet after Adam (a) and the first prophet, at whose time the punishment of God was sent. By the order of God, Noah (a) built an ark to rescue believers from the flood. The Qur’an mentioned Noah (a) the first prophet who brought sharia to humanity. He is mentioned in Quran multiple times and one of the suras that is specifically about his story is named after him. Because of his long life, he (a) is known as Shaykh al-Anbiya’ (elder of the prophets). His long life is used as an evidence for the long life of Imam al-Mahdi (a).

Ibrāhīm (Arabic: إبراهيم), or Abrāhām, known as Ibrāhīm al-Khalīl, is the second of Ulu l-‘Azm prophets. Abraham was selected as a prophet in Transoxiana, and invited Nimrod, the ruler of his time, and people of the region to monotheism. A few accepted his call, and since he was disappointed of their faith, he immigrated to Palestine.

According to Quranic verses, Abraham’s people worshiped idols, and when Abraham (a) broke their idols, they threw him into fire, but the fire became cool at the command of God, and Abraham (a) emerged safe and sound from the fire.

ʾIsmaʿīl (a) or Ishmael (Arabic: إسماعيل), son of Abraham (a), was a prophet known among Muslims with the title of Dhabih (lit. sacrifice). Based on Islamic hadits, the lineage of the Prophet Muhammad (s) reaches Isma’il (a).

[1] Kaʿba (Arabic: الکعبة) is a cube-shaped building inside al-Masjid al-Haram, Mecca. It is the most important place of worship in Islam and the qibla of Muslims. Muslims turn their face to it from any part of the world when they say their prayers. Doing tawaf (circumambulation) around it is a part of hajj rituals.

Its visit, as part of hajj, is wajib (obligatory) for Muslims once in their lifetime when they meet certain conditions, such as financial and other sorts of ability (istita’a).

According to Quranic verses and hadiths, Ibrahim (a) and his son, Isma’il (a), built the Ka’ba by God’s command;
