Imam Sajjad’s order to the angel of death and the return of the soul and the miracle of turning water drops into jewels!

Imam Sajjad’s order to the angel of death and the return of the soul and the miracle of turning water drops into jewels!

They say: He was a religious man, one of the elders of Balkh province, who was a pilgrim to Bait al-Ihram and a pilgrim to the grave of the Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. And met Imam Sajjad and visited him.
He also brought gifts and presents to that Prophet and learned the issues and interests of his religion from him and returned to his province and city. One day that man’s wife said to him:
“You take many gifts and presents to Ali bin Al-Hussein, peace be upon him, but he does not give you anything.” The righteous man said:
“This person for whom I am giving a gift is the king of this world and the hereafter, and all that is in the hands of people is under his property because he is the caliph of God on earth and the authority of God over his servants, he is the son of the Messenger of God He is the Imam and the son of the Imam, he is our master and leader.
When the woman heard these words, she became silent and stopped blaming her husband. After that, the righteous man made preparations and went to Mecca in the next year. Then he went to Imam Sajjad’s house, asked permission and entered.
He greeted the Prophet and kissed his hand. There was food in front of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him). Imam (peace be upon him) called him and showed him before him and ordered him to eat. And that person also ate enough food.
Then the Prophet asked for a  bowl and a finger bowl,
that person got up and took the kettle and poured the water on the hands of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon her).
Hazrat said: “O Sheikh! You are our guest! How do you pour water on our hands?!” “I like it,” said the person.
Hazrat said: “I swear to God that I will show you what you like and are satisfied with and your eyes will be enlightened by it.”
So that person poured water in his hand until a third of the bowl was filled. At this time, Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) said to that person: “Look, what is this?” The person said, “It is water.” The Prophet said: “Rather, it is a red ruby.” So that person looked and saw that the water had turned into a red ruby by God’s permission. Then the Prophet said: “Pour the water.”

That person poured water until two-thirds of the pot was filled. Hazrat said again: “What is this?” He said: “It is water.” Hazrat said: “Rather, it’s a green emerald .”
So the man looked and saw that there was a green emerald inside the bowl. After that, Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) again said to that person: “Pour the water.” The man poured water until the pot was full. At this time, the Prophet said: “What is this?!” The person said, “It is water.”
Hazrat said: Rather, it is a white door.

So the man looked and saw that by God’s permission, the water had turned into a white door. And the bowl was filled with red ruby, green emerald and white, and the man was very surprised. So that man threw himself at the feet of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) and kissed his feet.

Then the Prophet said: “O Sheikh! We don’t have anything to replace your gifts, so take these jewels and ask your wife to forgive us because she blamed you for us.”
That believing man lowered his head and was ashamed. Then he said: “O Syed and my master! You informed me of my wife’s words without any doubt! It is true that you are from the Ahl al-Bayt of the Prophet (peace be upon him).

So that person said goodbye to Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) and returned to his wife with the jewels and narrated the story to her and then said: “Did I tell you that he is from the people of the House of Knowledge and from the verses of Baherat?”

So the woman prostrated in gratitude and swore to her husband to take her with him to visit Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) to visit that Imam.
The man took his wife with him the following year. In the middle of the way, the woman fell ill and died near Madinah and received divine mercy.

That person came to the service of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) and told the news of his wife’s death while crying and said: “My wife loved to visit you and visit your grandfather.” At this time, Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) performed two rak’ahs of prayer and prayed to God Almighty.

Then he turned to the man and said: “Get up and go to your wife. Verily, God Almighty has revived her by His power, Verily, He is the reviver of decayed bones.” So the man got up and came as fast as he could and entered his tent and saw that his wife was sitting in perfect health, so he was very happy and his certainty increased.
He said to his wife: “How did God revive you?!” The woman said: “I swear to God, the king of death(Malek al mot)  came and took hold of my soul and wanted to take it to the sky, when suddenly he met a person whose attributes were such and such (he began to describe the attributes of Maulana Ali bin Al-Hussein, peace be upon him).

When the Malek al mot( king of death) saw him, he threw himself at his blessed feet and kissed them and said: “Peace be upon you, O proof of God on earth and in His heaven!” Peace be upon you, O adornment of the worshippers!

So that Prophet answered his greeting and then said: “O king of death! Bring this woman’s soul back to her body, it is true that she intended for us and I asked my Lord to keep her alive for another thirty years.” Malek Alamot said: “I heard and I obey God and you, O guardian of God!” So my soul returned to my body and I saw that the King of Death was kissing its noble hands.

Then the man took his wife’s hand and brought her to Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) and he was among his companions. At this time, that woman threw herself at the feet of the Prophet and kissed his blessed feet and said:
“I swear to God, he is my lord and master, the one who, with his blessing, God Almighty brought me to life.” So that man and woman both stayed in the vicinity of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) in Madinah(Madineye Tayyebe)  and spent the rest of their lives in the service of that Imam. [1]
