Imam Hadi and answering the question before asking it

Hasan bin Ismail says: I and a man from our village were honored to serve Imam Hadi (peace be upon him). We took the belonging to him. One of the villagers had given us something to take to the Prophet and said:

Say my hello to Hazrat and ask: Is it permissible to eat the eggs of a certain bird from the forest birds or not?

We went to Hazrat’s house and gave what we had with us to a maidservant. In the meantime, the Sultan’s messenger came, Hazrat got up to go to the court, we left his service and did not ask Hazrat about that issue.

And when we came to the street, Hazrat came to us and he said with me in Nabataean language:

Say hello to him and tell him: Don’t eat the egg of a certain bird because it is of metamorphoses (humans who have transformed into animals) [1]
