This world is not more than a breath compared to the hereafter!

This world is not more than a breath compared to the hereafter!

In this article, we want to examine the relationship between people in this world and human life in the afterlife and the destruction of human life

To make the matter clear, we refer to the narration

The Prophet of Islam said: The amount of your life compared to your life in heaven is like breathing;

So if you waste that one soul, you have lost eternal life and you are definitely one of the losers. (1)

By reflecting on the above narration, it can be concluded that if we consider the average human life of 70 years, it is one breath compared to the afterlife.

In this case, the ratio of human life in this world to the hereafter is one to infinity, because the word (eternity) is used in the above narration.

The Holy Qur’an also emphasizes the existence and eternity of the afterlife in Surah Al-Ala and says

[But you obstinate disbelievers do not go towards the path of salvation] but prefer the life of this world [to it]. (16)

while the Hereafter is better and more stable. (17) (2)

Therefore, a person should not ruin the eternal hereafter with the life of this world, which is no more than one breath

But how can we protect our afterlife from destruction and losses?

The Holy Quran says in Surah Asr:

وَالْعَصْرِ ﴿١﴾

Oath to Asr[time] (1)

[that] without a doubt, man is at a great loss; (2)

Except those who believed and did good deeds and advised each other to the truth and enjoined patience. (3) (4)

To clarify the 4 points of verse 3 of Surah Asr, we refer to a narration

Abd al-Rahman bin Kathir has narrated from Imam Sadiq (peace be upon her) about the words of God Almighty, who said:

Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala excluded her chosen ones from his creations, where he said:

Humans are all at a loss … except those who have believed in the guardianship of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

(Va amelos salehat) It means they fulfilled the obligations.

(Va tava sawbel hagh) It means to advise the province (12 imams).

(Va tawa sawbes sabr) That is, to order their children and those they left after themselves in this world to be wise and patient in this way. (4)

Also, in another narration, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said

(Al lazin a amanu) That is, they believed in those people’s (12 imams) governorship.

(Wa amelos salehat) that is, with the sympathy and support of their brothers,

(Wa tawa saw bes sabr) That is, during the absence of their absent Imam (Imam Mahdi), they advise each other to be patient. (5)

Therefore, in this short world, after faith, a person should carry a burden for the eternal hereafter and not waste that infinite life in the hereafter.
