The narrator says, I asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him).
I will be your sacrifice, what is the meaning of this verse of the Quran which says, “We gave wisdom to Luqman”.
وَ لَقَدْ آتَيْنا لقمان الْحِكْمَةَ أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِلهِ وَ مَنْ يَشْكُرْ فَإِنَّما يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِ وَ مَنْ كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللهَ غَنِيٌّ حَميدٌ )
We gave wisdom to Luqman; [And we said to him]:
Give thanks to God. Whoever gives thanks, gives thanks only for his own benefit; And whoever disbelieves, [does not harm God]; Because God is needless and praiseworthy. (1)
Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said that they gave him the knowledge of the Imam Zaman[The Imam of the Period and the Master of the Age](2).
In another narration, Abu Basir says that I asked Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) about this saying of Almighty God, and whoever receives wisdom, much good has come to him. What does this mean?
The Prophet said this wisdom is obedience to God and knowledge of the Imam (3).
From the above narrations, it can be understood that a person who has been given the knowledge of the Imam Zaman to him, he has actually been given wisdom
In fact, in our time, wisdom has been given to those who have recognized the Imam Zaman, namely Hazrat Mahdi (peace be upon him).
