A person named Abu Salama said:
“I went to Imam al-Jawad (a) while I was suffering from a severe deafness. I asked Imam (a) to heal me. Imam (a) put his hand on my head and ear and recited a prayer, then said, “Hear!”
I swear to God, I was healed at that moment, and from then on, I hear faint noises no one can hear.
