Yunus bin Zabyan says: I was in front of Imam Sadiq-7- and some people were also present.
I asked: God Almighty says to Ibrahim:
فَخُذْ أَرْبَعَةً مِنَ الطَّيْرِ فَصُرْهُنَ[2]
(So he took four birds and separated them ),2
Were these four birds of one species or several species?
Hazrat said: Would you like me to show you something like that?
We said: Yes.
He said: peacock! We saw a peacock while it was flying and came to him.
Then the crow, the bird and the dove also came to him in the same way.
He ordered them to be slaughtered and their feathers should be removed and their bodies should be cut into pieces and mixed together.
Then, he took the head of the peacock and said: peacock! We saw that the flesh, bones and feathers were separated and attached to the head and the peacock stood up alive. After that, he called the crow and it came back to life in the same way. And in this way, he resurrected the pigeon and the dove [1].
