In the battle of Taif, there were many trees in one area. Prophet- – had just woken up and was passing through those trees.
A cedar tree appeared in front of the Prophet and it split in two and the Prophet passed through the middle of it.
That tree was still there and people respected it. And that tree was known as “Sidra al-Nabi” [3].
When the Arabs were looking for pasture, they used it as much as possible and used it on their camels and sheep.
And they cut the trees there, but they didn’t cut that cedar tree. Because they knew and respected its dignity. So it became a clear sign and a lasting proof.
