In the book “Amali” Sheikh Sadouq Quds Ser has quoted Hazrat Sadiq, peace be upon him, who said:
A Jewish person came to the service of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, and when he stood in front of him, he looked at him, the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, said to him: O Jew, what do you have to do with me? And what is your need?
He said: I want to ask whether you are superior or Musa bin Imran, to whom God spoke and revealed the Torah to him, and gave him a staff, and parted the sea for him, and commanded the clouds to cast a shadow over him. ?
The Holy Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: It is not appropriate for anyone to praise herself, but in answer to you I say:
When Hazrat Adam committed that mistake, he said the following in order to repent:
«اللهمّ إنّي أسألك بحقّ محمّد وآل محمّد لمّا غفرت لي ».
God! I ask you to forgive my sin for the sake of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and may God forgive him.
When Noah, peace be upon him, was afraid of drowning in the middle of the ship, he said:
«اللهمّ إنّي أسألك بحقّ محمّد وآل محمّد لمّا أنجيتني من الغرق»،
God! I am asking you for the sake of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad to save me from drowning, and God saved him.
When Hazrat Ibrahim, peace be upon him, was released to the fire, he said:
«اللهمّ إنّي أسألك بحقّ محمّد وآل محمّد لمّا أنجيّتني منها»، .
God! I am asking you, the right of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, to save me from this fire, and God made the fire cool and harmless to him.
When Hazrat Musa, peace be upon him, let go of the staff and felt fear in his being, he said:
«اللهمّ إنّي أسألك بحقّ محمّد وآل محمّد لمّا أمنتني»
God! I am asking you for the sake of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad to make me safe and free me from fear.
God Almighty said:
«لاتَخَفْ إنَّكَ أنْتَ الأعْلى» (1) ».
Do not be afraid because you are the best.
O Jew! If Musa understands and finds me and then does not believe in me and my prophecy, his faith will never benefit him and he will not benefit from my prophecy.
يا يهودي؛ ومن ذرّيّتي المهديّ عليه السلام إذا خرج نزل عيسى بن مريم لنصرته فقدّمه وصلّى خلفه.
O Jew! Mahdi is from my seed and generation, when Isa bin Maryam appears from the sky to help him, and when he prays, he leads him and imitates him (Mahdi (pbuh)). (That is, Jesus (PBUH) is one of the Shiites of Hazrat Mahdi.)
And if Musa was alive at this time, he would have had no choice but to obey and follow me. (2)
This shows that after the appearance of the beloved Prophet of Islam and the twelve Imams, people of every religion, tradition and sect should convert to Islam, as well as to the last prophet (pbuh) and the twelve Imams (pbuh), which the Prophet of Islam said in the Ghadir sermonabout the succession of Imam Ali (a.s.) and his 11 noble sons announced by God to the people of the world, believe !
